The Hog Rider is a popular card, but easily countered. The Cannon offers extreme value at only 3 elixir. Place it in the center to pull the Hog away from your towers and allow both towers to target him. The Tombstone (3 elixir) also works by spawning skeletons, distracting the Hog and often securing a positive elixir trade. Place it just in front of your tower, towards the center. Lastly, Mini P.E.K.K.A. (4 elixir) delivers massive damage and can often one-shot the Hog; deploy him directly on top of the Hog for maximum damage output. Utilizing these cards strategically turns the Hog Rider's rush into an elixir advantage for you. Remember to consider opponent support troops when deploying your counters.
